A brilliant additional benefit. Lots of claims are received and paid for this type of cover.

Jason, another great article, but I think there is another layer to consider – that of the part that Underwriting plays, or not – as those providers that specifically UW MFC (Aviva, CF, SW, V?) will underwrite out (decline) many of the risks that others have exclusions for, giving the same net result………

wow jason i spoke to you yesterday about Underwriting for income protection, You are a mindful of information, if you want to consider the friendly societies Holloway exeter and british friendly . they will not change their stance on wording for back pain neck pain etc in the last 5 years. this is their choice of course. It just says whether you have consulted a doctor or not. this is a much stricter wording of the questions. REASON clients should declare all self medication taken over the last 5 years which if not declared could impact at point of claim.

Cirencester and other insurers state if your have seen a doctor nurse or other health professional in the last 5 years.
You are not saying the 3 societies are wrong you are declaring the facts, and then it is up to the advisers to make a decision of course.
I do believe this would be extremely useful thank you David
